I came to Sarah after feeling like all the lockdowns and working from home had really impacted me mentally and physically. I had stopped moving as much as I used to and gained a lot of weight. I was always so tired and my self-confidence had plummeted, so I decided to reach out to her for help.
I’ve had such a great experience with Sarah. The results I have achieved in just three months have been incredible and I am truly SHOCKED that I’ve already lost over 47cm on my body. All the clothes that I used to wear before the pandemic fit me again and other than my physical improvement, my mental and emotional state has never been better.

I started working with Sarah back in December 2021. Initially I wanted to loose weight and tone, however through the course of working with Sarah 1-1 I’ve discovered a love for weight training. Sarah is exceptionally welcoming and made me feel at ease from my first session with her.

Going to a personal trainer for the first time is such a daunting experience, but I felt like I’d known Sarah for ages. Not only have I lost weight and have started to tone up but my whole mindset on my body focus has shifted. This has been through Sarah’s guidance and support. I look forward to my sessions every week and I’ve even started to put our workouts into practise at the gym solo. I feel more confident in myself and in my own abilities and that’s all stemmed from Sarah.

​I started Sarah‘s zoom classes during lockdown and then joined the in person group classes. It was the first time I actually looked forward to exercise, and didn't spend the day talking myself out of going to class. Sarah always provides modifications to all exercises, catering for injuries and experience. There is never any judgement and the group of ladies joining the classes are so welcoming. They are from a range of ages and abilities, so no one should worry about trying the classes out!
It was Sarah’s inclusive and personal approach that made me sign up to her 1:1 PT sessions and I haven’t looked back! In our initial consultation I told Sarah that for personal reasons I wasn’t comfortable with including a calorie counting element in our plan. Sarah was very understanding and instead we worked to develop a healthier lifestyle that could still fit around a busy working mum life. My goal was to feel more comfortable in my body, learn to enjoy exercise and be confident in the gym. Sarah has helped me to achieve all of that and so much more! 5 months in and I feel like a new person. I feel stronger, happier and healthier. Sarah has the right balance of being supportive, but also pushing me to gain confidence both in our 1:1 sessions and when I am training on my own in the gym. Since training with Sarah, I have learnt that it is not about a quick fix, it is about building a sustainable plan that you can stick to and see long term results.
Training with Sarah has taught me that body confidence isn’t just about accepting the way you look, it is also about how you value your body and taking pride in what your body can do.

​From the first day I met Sarah for my consultation we got on so well. I didn’t only start my journey for weight loss/fitness but I wanted to better my mental health. Sarah has managed to tick all of those boxes. I suffer with anxiety and mild depression but I know that every time I leave a session, I will feel better!
When I first started training with Sarah,  she did workouts with me to help me with my self-confidence and anxiety. She is so attentive and not judgemental at all! Within the first 6 weeks, I noticed so many changes with my appearance, mental health and general happiness.
Since finding out that I am pregnant, Sarah has completely adapted our training and she has been so supportive. Even just going for a walk together instead of a big session if I am feeling tired. I honestly couldn’t ask for more. I have not only got myself a personal trainer, but a friend and therapist all in one.

I started PT with SWS in Jan 2022 to step things up a gear after attending her fab classes pre lockdown. I only intended doing 3 months to get back on track, but I immediately felt so much better, mentally and physically that now I can’t imagine ever stopping (Sorry Sarah😆)
Strength training with Sarah is my new love and it doesn’t even feel like hard work (apart from maybe those lunges 🤦🏼‍♀️). Sarah delivers her programme in small manageable steps to suit your lifestyle, needs and preferences whilst supporting you to push forward and reach new goals. She really listens and adapts things so you get maximum benefit from your workout. I’ve learnt so much from Sarah, she’s a great teacher.
I look forward to my sessions each week and always leave feeling a million times better 💪🏼. Sarah’s classes are also great fun. We burn calories laughing as much as we do moving. The combination of the two work perfectly for me. I highly recommend her.

​A hidden gem during lockdown has become a 2022 lifestyle since signing up as  a PT client in January 2022. I’m not ashamed of saying that I had let things slip – busy job, busy life and a busy family had taken its toll and looking after myself and my own health had taken a big of a back seat. Sarah had a lot to work in! But….with a bit of perseverance on my part and Sarah really understanding what my goals were, I am now someone that really enjoys regular exercise as part of my daily schedule (and losing a few pounds on the way has been a bonus too!). I cant applaud Sarah enough – she ha s a great attitude, a simple but effective approach to PT and is great fun (which when you are lifting, shifting and sweating is vital!.) On behalf of the over 50s, I absolutely recommend Stronger with Sarah!

I met Sarah through her live online workouts which were the perfect way for me to re-introduce myself to exercise without going to fitness classes where everyone is perky and already knows eachother (not for me, too anxious and awkward for that!)
I took the plunge to ask Sarah about becoming a PT client and although PT is an extra expense to pay for I decided that you can't really put a price on your health right?!
Rewind to January where Sarah asked me what my goals were - she put no pressure on me to aim for weight loss or unachievable changes, everything was my own goal and Sarah was happy to support that. For me, I was hoping to intricate exercise into my routine, become more confident in using free weights in the gym with correct form and gain consistency in my diet.
I'm the sort of person who has been paying for the gym and never going, what I refer to as my laziness tax! Working with Sarah and creating programmes I could use outside of PT I have become somebody who goes to the gym 3 times a week - something I have never done and didn't think I would ever do.
Each week Sarah checks in with clients, for me she was monitoring my steps, my workouts and diet (keeping withing a calorie deficit whilst maintaining a high protein intake), she isn't there to tell you off or make you feel guilty but offers a supportive system to help guide you back to where to need to be.
My sessions were on a weekly basis at her home fitness studio, so no fighting others for equipment in the gym or feeling pressured by others to get off of machines. Each session is fun, interactive and best of all you decide the playlist - Disney, musicals and 90s? Yes please!
Working with Sarah has genuinely changed my life, I no longer fear exercise and have mental resilience to keep going when before I would have quit. For that, I can't thank Sarah enough!

Through my tailored workout plan, PT sessions, online video workout library, Sarah has transformed me. I was able to perfect my workouts and technique all in the comfort of her private fitness studio, making sessions that much more personal. It also meant that my confidence grew, and I now feel comfortable going to the gym. 
Because of Sarah, I am able to watch what I eat whilst still eating the foods I love. I feel fit, healthy and genuinely enjoy and look forward to working out, and my sleep has massively improved. I feel motivated and like myself again, no longer tired and sluggish. On top of all this, I have lost weight and feel amazing.

Sarah changed what I thought I knew about myself…..
In 2020, the year that was tough for everyone, I found myself feeling sluggish, down, deflated, struggling with work, home schooling and having a toddler at home whilst low on energy and had zero confidence or self-esteem. I wanted to make changes with real results but felt at a loss of where to start.
A friend recommended SWS zoom classes to me during Lockdown 1 and after a couple of months I really wanted to build on the improvements in my fitness, so we started personal training together.
We had an open conversation about where I was and what I wanted try and achieve so we set some realistic goals.
Due to Sarah’s amazing programming and unwavering support, I can’t say enough how pleased I am with the results so far. They have exceeded my expectations but it should be said, it is so much more than just the numbers. I have more energy, feel fitter, stronger happier and healthier than I have ever been and it is all down to Sarah’s approach. Stronger with Sarah has enabled me to build a new routine which I have been able to embed into my lifestyle and given me the tools to maintain a consistent approach. Sarah is always on hand with advice and tips, her passion and enthusiasm are what have spurred me on when I thought I couldn’t do it. I have achieved more than I thought possible and am so excited to continue on my SWS journey.
